Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

A large mural portrait of footballer Khvicha Kvaratskhelia covers part of the Shota Rustaveli State University façade on Rustaveli Street in Batumi.
The mural is a portrait of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, captain of the Georgia national team, painted on a university wall near the Hilton Hotel on Rustaveli Street. It spans several floors of the façade, and painting it took about ten days. Kvaratskhelia (born 12 February 2001) began his senior career at Dinamo Tbilisi, played briefly for Dinamo Batumi and moved to Napoli in 2022, helping the club win Serie A in his debut season. He later joined Paris Saint-Germain.
