Good to know

Most of Batumi’s sights sit within walking distance of each other, between the Old Town and the seafront: the Boulevard, Europe Square, the Alphabetic Tower, the Piazza and Batumi Tower, the 2012 skyscraper with a Ferris wheel set into its facade. The Botanical Garden, opened in 1912, and Gonio Fortress are a short ride away.

Use “Distance” sorting to see what is closest to you, or follow the route on the “Batumi in one day” page. For longer outings, see the day trips page. Each place page lists its sources and the date its facts were checked.
